	Laura fragt: Hi! I'm a protestant, but I was baptized in the Catholic Church. I have always felt a strong calling to a vocation, but being protestant I don't know what to do. My grandparents on my father's side are Catholic and I was baptised in their church, but I attend my mother's protestant church since my father does not attend church any more. If you could answer my question it would be greatly appreciated.
	Dear Laura, I think what you are feeling is an open invitation from Christ to start searching out your Catholic roots. He may be calling you 'back home'. He wants you to be closer to him. The Catholic Church is centered on Christ, who is really and personally present in the Eucharist. If your grandparents are still living they may be able to start explaining the faith to you. If not, you can start by asking questions to the Apologetics expert at EWTN.com's "Life on the Rock" or on other good Catholic web-sites, you will find many people more than glad to give you materials to read and help you along. If you have a vocation you will find out as Christ draws you closer to himself. Offer yourself totally to him from now in prayer.
